about 355

The Ferrari F355 is was sports car, produced by Ferrari between 1994 and 1999. This mid engine rear wheel drive 2-seater coupe was powered by a 3.5L V8. The bigger displacement, and 5 valve layout mean a significant power increase to 380hp. 3 main version were produced, the coupe Berlinetta, targa topped GTS, and the convertible Spider.

In 1995 the F355 Challenge was released, adding racing seats, a down force wing, and a roll cage.

Ferrari is famous for performance, and the F355 could accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.7 s, and reach a top speed of 295 km/h.

To celebrate the popular line, a special 355 Serie Fiorano was released, sporting a special handling package, racing brake pads, and remapped fuel chip, and upgraded trim.

A popular sports car around the world, some Japanese tuners have made aero body kits and other performance parts available for the 355. Radical changes are not normally not made to the engines. Larger diameter headers and exhaust are usually as extreme as it gets in terms of engine tuning. Carbon Fiber body panels and diffusers are available to reduce weight, and increase traction for the car during high speed runs on the track.
