about 360

The Ferrari 360 was a mid-engined, two-seater sports car, produced between 1999 and 2005. The 360 was the follow up from the popular F355. Though the engine only provided a small upgrade over the F355, the much lighter and stiffer frame meant a significant performance boost, with some versions reaching a 4.0 second time for the 0-100 km/h run. The stylings of the 360 were also new, breaking with previous traditions of pop-up headlights. 3 road cars, the Modena, the Spider and the Challenge Stradale were made, and 3 racing trim versions were also available, the Challenge, the GT and finally the GT-C.

The 360 featured up to 425 bhp, and was a very performance oriented machine in all the available trims. A popular sports car around the world, some Japanese tuners have made aero body kits and other performance parts available for the 360. Radical changes are not normally not made to the engines. Larger diameter headers and exhaust are usually the norm for a tuned Ferrari engine wise. Carbon Fiber body panels and diffusers are available to reduce weight, and increase traction for the car during high speed runs on the track.
