HKS, through it's many years of motorsport activities, have felt the need for the development of a transmission that can be used to accurately transfer engine torque at even the highest levels such as drag racing. Developed from years of experience from Drag, Drift, Time Attack and circuit racing, design, development, testing and production now all take place "in house" to ensure the feedback from racing goes directly into making a better production item.

When this item requires to be overhauled it can only be done at HKS Japan which makes the maintenance high. For those who are looking for a more cost-effective option please checkout our other transmission kits.
