Description
The HKS T51R Series Turbo T51R SPL BB (Ball Bearing) Turbo is capable of producing 1000 horsepower with an A/R 1.20 on the exhaust side and A/R 1.00 on the compressor side. The HKS T51R SPL Ball Bearing Turbo is based off of a similar turbocharger from Garrett. HKS then added their signature modifications to extract the best balance between power, reliability, and response to give the best feeling when behind the steering wheel. The T51R is the largest series of turbo that HKS currently makes, therefore this turbo takes longer to spool than the GT turbo series and is only recommended on engines 2.6 liter and larger (also on rotary engines).

    • The item will work on any engine that can support the output of the turbine. You would require massive custom work in order to fit the item. It would be best to consult with your mechanic.
