GP Sports is a well known tuning and parts company because of their D1 driver Masato Kawabata and his Hyper Knuckle big angle drifts. HKB Sports

HKB Sports is a brand made by the company Toei. Toei has been around since 1967 and is a house hold name with the JDM market. The HKB Sports lineup consists of Steering Wheels, Boss Kits, Wheel Spacers and an assortment of car accessories. HKB Sports website

HKS Japan

HKS Japan has been around since 1973 and is the most respected large tuning company around. Some of you may remember the first EVC just after the VVC was retired. This was in the beginning of the race boom that helped HKS become the dominant company it is now. Since then HKS has been researching and racing JDM cars and is on top of the game bar none!! HKS quality is very good and as a company HKS is considered to be one of the toughest hard lined ones out there. Because of this and their policies on a very select few tuners hold the Meister tuning license for the F-CON V gold. HKS has very strong ties to Yamaha and this is where HKS got its start and engineering experience from. HKS has made race motors for Yamaha motorcycles and they also currently make small aircraft motors. HKS products are the way to go for just about any racer out there!

HKS Kansai

HKS Kansai is very large tuning company which also a line-up of their own original parts. Located in the Kansai region, hence their name HKS Kansai, they have gained quite a reputation for their area. Actually, HKS Kansai is a satellite operation of the much larger parent company HKS Japan. There are quite of few of these HKS satellite operations scattered around Japan but HKS Kansai has developed its own cult following. It is so large that there are many abroad who think HKS Kansai is a completely different company. The product lineup does have some HKS Kansai only products that are quite popular not only here in Japan but abroad as well.

Honda Twincam/Feel's

A 25 year in the JDM Aftermarket industry, Honda Twin Cam, better known as Feel's in a Honda specific tuning brand making everything from Aero Parts and Exhaust to fully built engines. HPI

HPI is an acronym for High Power Improvement which is exactly what HPI brings to the aftermarket scene. Although a relatively new company founded in 1998 the experience that HPI brings goes much further into the past than this as HPI was founded due to a breaking of ways with another veteran parts manufacturer. HPI takes extreme pride with their parts as they are all made in Japan to top spec while also having great cost performance. HPI is well known to have very close ties with NISMO in addition to APP. In the D1GP Professional Drift Series, APP and HPI tend to have pits next to eachother and also have the same vehicle with close to the same specs. HPI's Japan website

HRD

HRD is a garage located to the north of Tokyo and stands for Harada Engineering. HRD is a GT-R Tuning Garage but they boast that there is nothing that they cant do! Hyper Rev

Hyper Rev is known throughout the Japan as the ultimate bible of car parts, tuning secrets, model history and other trivia and knowledge specific to each vehicle. The thing that makes these magazines different from others is that each issue is dedicated to only a specific model such as the GT-R, Skyline, Silvia, Starlet, Miata, RX-7, Supra, Integra, Civic, NSX, Lancer, Impreza, 180sx, S2000 etc. Many people dont know that most of these magazines were published many years ago and these are just the back issues. The unfortunate part of this is that there are many parts that have been discontinued in these magazines which can lead the enthusiast to more disappointment than expected.

Ikeya Formula

Ikeya Formula was started in 1968 and finally incorporated as a company in 1996. Ikeya Formula is located in Atsugi prefecture which is situated right out side of Tokyo. With the help of some of the highest technology robots and machinery, Ikeya Formula has been able to develop an extensive line-up of extreme footwork parts and are famous for their one of a kind sequential shifter. These products have been driven to the extremes and have proved to be durable enough and provide more adjust ability than similar products from other manufacturers. Ings is an Aero Parts maker that was Established in April 2001 in Nara Prefecture. Ings is known around Japan as a producer of very high quality JDM Body Kits and JDM Aero Parts for circuit use. Ings is an active racer in the Super Taikyu races here in Japan and uses this experience for developing and refining their Aero Parts lineup. If you have a Honda or are in to circuit you should definately check out their lineup. Insurance Group Diana

Insurance Group is the name that Diana falls under. Insurance Group also owns Bleuge and Valenza under their realm to make for a very large and successful VIP company! Integral

Although Integral's products are limited to mainly just the Lancer and Impreza, they do it big! Integral produces complete engines for these cars and are most known for the widely used knock meters. Integral is so strict with their products that they require a sales rep to go to the car in which the knock meter is being installed to ensure that it is being installed correctly and used properly. That is why they are the best in the world! They are located in nearby Saitama which is a breeding grounds for vehicle tuning. Integral's website
