The 24th is labor day in Japan. RHDJapan will be closed for a national holiday on Monday. Patrick and Russell will be remotely checking emails as usual but our team will be off and not in the office. Currency markets crash against the Yen! If you have noticed our prices has become a little higher it has due to the currency exchanges. That means that the Yen has become stronger than before and it takes a little more foreign currency to purchase Japanese goods directly from Japan.

Price rises announced from most vehicle manufacturers in Japan. Starting October 1st most Japan vehicle manufacturers will be rising their prices to match the increasing commodities prices in the market. This will eventually trickle down to the smaller makers as well so it is advised to make your purchases before these take place. For maximum savings.

Yes the rumors are true. Trust has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and assistance for corporate restructuring. They will still be making parts and there are still supplies available. We have been in contact with our Trust Greddy rep since the morning of Sept 10th about the filing. There is nothing to worry about as the company is going to still produce products for its most popular lineups however there is a temporary stop in supply while the restructuring plans are put in to place. We should have more information on this by today or tomorrow. We apologize for any delays this may have caused, we are working closely with our Trust Greddy rep to get our supply chain back to 100% asap.

Obon Vacation announcement. Many of the companies here in Japan are closing down for 3 to 7 days for Obon Vacation. Nismo starts on Friday while HKS Trust and others will start next week. RHDJapan.com brings it to you fresh from Tokyo. Here are some clips of the qualifying rounds for the Drift Competition D1GP in Japan. It started to rain as the last round just before the seeded drivers went up to drift. Unfortunately the challenge was cancelled at that point due to the rain. We are going again tomorrow so stay tuned.

Website has some modifications done. We have added rss feeds to the latest products for all vehicles and in the main latest products section. This will allow you to see all the new products for your car only without coming to our website. Wait a second, we still want you to come to our website!! (^_^) We have also added shipping discounts for multiple purchases so you can see how much you can save by purchasing more than one item. Our shopping cart has been optimized to give a better faster feel. We added the shopping cart at the top right so you can see the shopping cart and item total everywhere on the site as well. Fixed the buy now and add to cart buttons. We have also made it easier to check shipped prices on products while not being logged in. Mazda Japan has announced a price rise of 5% on all their products. Mazda seems to be the last to come to the table with the price rise. They expressed their regret but with commodities and inflation pushing prices highter they had no choice.
