During normal driving the clutch line will raise to a temperature of 60-70 C and up to 100 C during hard driving. This will cause the stock clutch line to balloon whenever pressure is applied from your foot to the clutch pedal which will reduce the predictability of the catch point of your clutch making it difficult to be precise in driving. This is even more evident when a stiffer feeling aftermarket clutch is installed.

With the TRD Direct Clutch Line, all ballooning is eliminated due to its stainless steel mesh hose design. Now, no matter what temperature your car may throw at your clutch line, you will be able to predict how your clutch system is going to react to each and every input you give to it. Many cars are notorious for their clutch lines leaking due to the weaker stock clutch line.
