The Nismo Low-Temp Thermostat VQ35DE is a drop-in direct replacement for the OEM unit and is compatible with the VQ35DE engine. Nissan`s OEM unit will open at 76.5 degrees Celcius (170F) and this unit will open earlier at 68 degrees Celcius (154.4F) in turn leading to a cooler running engine and is recommended for anyone truly enjoying their VQ35DE engine. There is no need to worry about fitment or defects as the item is made by the absolute best in Nissan Tuning, Nismo (Nissan Motorsports). Due to their popularity these can sometimes become special order units. If so they will usually take 3-5 working days to arrive to us from Nismo once payment is made. Temperature valve opening- Nismo: 68 C- OEM: 76.5 CFEATURES:
Nismo Low-Temp Thermostat allows the radiator valve to achieve a lower temperature opening at 68C (Standard = 76.5C). This promotes earlier coolant circulation inside the engine, reducing the power loss caused by rising coolant temperature during high speed driving at a racetrack. The valve opening temperature is set lower to within the vicinity of the threshold valve where a rich mixture boost for a low temperature condition would be triggered.

PRODUCT NOTES:
- Includes gasket.
- When the air temperature is low, such as during winter, the temperature of the water within the engine will not quickly rise, resulting in reduced interior heater performance.
