Ohlins DFV
The Ohlins DFV transform the Skyline GTR's handling. These are very hand to find here in the USA. Was happy to get these from RHD Japan. These do excellent in soaking up very harsh abrupt bumps on the road. The Skylines chassis is more stable, composed and carves through the corners like a dream. Depending on where you live and how bumpy your roads I would maybe select softer spring rates. The standard rates are 10kg front and 8kg rear. These springs are perfect the the slow smooth roads in Japan at slower speeds. My car would feel a little bouncy over the washboard roads here in the US at high speeds. At 38 years old, it is just to stiff especially on the track. I purchased 5gk springs for the front and 4gk for the rear. This provides the Ohlins DFV damper a longer stroke and utilizing what the DFV system is designed to do. The dampers need to be able to move to soak up the bumps and keep your vehicle planted and stable. Hope this helps you guys. Thanks Josh @ youtube account JDMRightHandDrive
