Well it has been one week since the Tokyo Auto Salon 2009. What a blast! Although it has been getting a little smaller and a little smaller every year it is still the greatest Japanese Domestic Market motor sports trade show and expo in the world. Pat and I got there about 9 AM and went straight in.TAS has visibly less drift cars than last year but what it lacked in drift beasts it made up in tons of hooked up GT-Rs and a few new Fairlady Zs. One big surprise was (and we knew this in August) that HKS was not going to exhibit, and Trust Greddy would not be there too.I was looking for the GT-R V spec but it was not there. We did find a S tune Fairlady Z and it was great looking!  I know Im gonna get slagged for this but I think the Z34 looks a lot better than the new GT-R R35. In terms of pure performance yes GT-R, please sign me up!! But for looks, man, the Z34 is still the best looking car out there!! There were a lot of RX-7s as well and yes the race queens were there too. I managed to document almost every tuned car at the Auto Salon and the shots came out pretty good.
