HKS Announces some GD Max and GD Pro discontinuations
HKS quietly announced that they will be discontinuing some of their GD Max Clutch and GD Pro Clutch lineups the other day. For those of you who still need replacement discs the good news is that all the discs are the same so as long as there are still some clutches in the lineup there will be discs available. The bad news is for those of you who need clutch covers, hubs and other vehicle specific rebuild parts you will have to act fast as once the parts are sold out there will be no more.
I recommend that you take a look at your clutch to see if you can identify any wear and if so you may want to stock up. The thing that made the HKS GD clutch so nice was that the discs were the cheapest to replace so the HKS GD series was the best bang for the buck over the long run and a few rebuilds.
I wont go in to all the details of which vehicles were discontinued but all the clutches on www.rhdjapan.com are being updated now so if you notice you vehicle is no longer listed, that is why..Â
The clutch will be missed by many...Â
