With the first blog post of the New Year the RHDJapan team would like to send out the warmest greetings to all.

As you may have already seen the RHDJapan site has gone through a renewal. Much more than just a new look, the site has gone a major re-architecting to provide improved performance, more specific product and vehicle compatibility information, improved search functionality, advanced filtering, new dealer accounts, instant bulk purchase discounts,package deals and a faster checkout.

The end of the year is upon us and winter holidays are around the corner. This past year has been a really challenging and exciting year for us here at RHDJapan. Patrick, Russell and the rest of the RHD Team are very thankful to have such a top class group of fans and customers dealers. (^o^) Thank you all very much for your support in 2009!!

“What have we been up to behind the scenes?”, you may have wondered. We have been redoing pricing on items, rewriting product descriptions, creating dealer programs and negotiating new shipping contracts in a multi attack plan for a new RHDJapan website for 2010. Finally all the preparation is just about finished and we are pleased to announce the new and improved RHDJapan website is up and running!! If you have not yet seen it, we would like to give you all a first look at what we have been working on behind the scenes!

We were supposed to go live a little bit earlier but site usage spiked so hard that we had to change servers and our site was offline for about 6 hours on the 15th of December. Moving to a clustered server environment was a little more challenging than we thought and the site finally made a beta release on the 25th of December, 10 days after we switched to the cluster environment.  We are very sorry for any inconveniences our move may have created.

The new RHDJapan features some major re-archetecting to provide improved performance, more specific product and vehicle compatibility information.
