A famed machine shop since the times when the 510 Bluebird single cam L-head engine was a popular tuning base. Unlike its main racing clutch competition, Ogura Clutch (ORC) which manufactures clutches for a wide array of cars and other applications, OS Giken was established solely for producing tuning parts. Since the early days of the company, OS Giken has been making new innovative parts time and time again. This innovation made them a common subject of talk in the tuning community and their popularity started to grow at the grass roots racing level. With the debut of the ground breaking DOHC 4 Valve TC16-MAII/TC24-B1 L-engine heads in 1975 the company really became unstoppable. Then 25 yeasr later they pushed the limits again with the RB30 OS-E2996 Engine. Innovation from OS Giken came again two years later with the release of the RB26 Sequential Transmission, and the Super Lock LSD came the following year.
