The Toyota WISH was a MPV for the south east asian markets, launched in in 2003. This 6 or 7 seater was equipped with either a 1.8, or 2.0-litre engine. The ZNE10G (FWD) and ZNE14G (4WD) models featured the 1.8 L, 1ZZ-FE engine, producing 132 PS and 170 N/m (125 lb/ft), with a 2.0 L version following in 2003.

The Wish was a great hit in the domestic market in Japan, often sneaking in to the top 5 best selling cars. The car has also been sold in other asian markets, the Thai and Taiwan versions mostly similar to the JDM version.

A new 2009 version has been available from April, featuring new Dual VVT-i 2ZR-FAE 1.8L and 3ZR-FAE 2.0L engines, as well as a 7-speed Super CVT-i transmission.

The Wish is popular in being tuned with a VIP style theme. Aero, Suspension, Wheels, and other parts are also available to increase the looks, handling, sound, power, and response of the Wish.
