This item is designed to be installed within the exhaust system in between flanges. An evolved version of the original manually operated ECV system which can now be more precisely operated via remote control. In addition to one-touch operation for full open or closed it can now be set to operate based off of speed or engine RPM. In addition remote function allows for installation and operation without requiring hole opening to route cable like earlier version. A great addition for those who have strict noise controls on the street, quiet neighborhoods and long drives when the muffler noise drones away. Get this and all your JDM at RHDJapan!!
