During hard braking and forceful pedal operation the firewall flexes out where the brake master cylinder is located. This results in decreased brake pedal effort and feel. With the installation of the bracket/stopper kit to the strut tower, the front & back motion of the firewall where the brake master cylinder is located is secured, resulting in increased brake stopping operation. Perfect fit, easy installation. Another quality Cusco product.
I don't really use brakes all that much, but the clutch also shares the brake fluid reservoir on my car, so figured 'why not'. Only time will tell if there has been any real benefit, but even a slight improvement in pedal feel and shifting will be a win.
