HKS Metal Catalyzer Front Pipe Silencer Set Nissan GT-R R35

The HKS Metal Catalyzer Front Pipe Silencer Set Nissan GT-R R35 is a high performance replacement for the standard metal catalyzer for improved performance and exhaust flow. This HKS listing consists of the Outlet Pipes and Front Pipe for the R35 GT-R. The Outlet Pipes, are larger in diameter and have been modified into two HKS Metal Catalyzers. The Front Pipe's diameter has also been increased and includes a silencer/muffler/resonator to keep exhaust sound at a reasonable level. This set essentially will keep your car Green and quiet for the neighbors while exhaust pressure is relieved at high horsepower levels at full throttle and torque/turbo response is increased at lower RPM ranges.

Removing your stock catalytic converter is not only illegal in most places but it is bad for the environment. This puts you in a dilemma because running a turbine requires a higher flow exhaust in order to keep back pressure low. If the exhaust back pressure is too great under boost your car will run poorly. You will damage the turbo bearings, seals or cause cracks in the exhaust housing if you boost above stock levels without a proper exhaust setup.
