This is a high spec damper designed for the low riding street cruiser. The single tube shell case design allows for a highly efficient, extremely accurate and durable short stroke damper. Dampening has been tested with a car with 5 passengers, to get the best damper setting possible without ruining ride comfort. The optimum damping forces are set to each model based on the actual driving results. These are best when used with lowering springs as the springs are what determines the ride height. The quality is typically HKS perfect.The price-performance ratio is very good and there is no other option on the market where you can increase the spring preload. It would be nice if HKS would bring another 40mm version onto the market with a smaller housing. Because it's not that easy to accommodate such a large wastgate in the engine compartment.
