The pipes will tend to twist during high boost runs, resulting in the pipes disconnecting. Mine's Induction Support and Hose Clamp Kit installs around the grommets, reinforcing them, and keeping them from moving.
In addition to helping to keep intercooler pipes from disconnecting, this kit is an excellent engine bay dress up piece!
