This will dampen the resonance, and decrease noise form the intake. It can be installed directly on to the Air Cleaner Box on the EK4 and EK9. Air Flow Pipe is even used by teams other than Spoon. This carbon fiber reinforced plastic upgrade has improved stress durability and keeping with the Spoon mantra of maximum performance and minimum weight, has been lightened 2500g, compared to stock part. Quality is a property of Spoon Sports and they proove that with this item. What a masterpiece. 92g for the carbon fibre elbow pipe is so awesome. The mount looks weak in the first place but is so rigid - I was surprised! Install was easy, look is phenomenal and sound is best. (below 2.600 rpm its not noticable for nice quiet daily driving, above 5.100 rpm its present when throttle is wide open - tested on a B16A engine)
