When needing to maintain the sealing characteristics and engine rigidity of the head gasket by the firm holds of the cylinder head to the block. Maintaining the perfect seal at higher pressures that are found with performance engines usually puts extreme stress loads on these washers which run the risk of deforming and or damaging the stock washers. The stock washers are not always a perfectly flat surface so any signs of warping or uneven surfaces on the washers can cause the bolts/nuts to loose the correct tension when under excessive loads.

I always forget that these systems are meant to hook up to the factory components. My Downpipe is 80mm and this system is only 70mm where it connects to mid pipe or cat. Regardless i cut and welded on v band to make this system easy to maintain. The quality is amazing and it sounds very nice. Deep and throaty however not super droning on the highway which I hate. I recommend this exhaust for anybody looking for a nice system in mostly 80mm diameter.
