Do-Luck Rear Cross Bar - R32 R33 R34

Superfast service by RHDJapan, I didn't expect this bar this month at all. The difference is very noticeable. The car reacts much quicker to steering input, less inertia in directional changes and feels very 'planted' in faster corners. Installation is very clean if you take your time. The bar sits on top of the carpet, same goes for the side pieces which mount at the bottom seatbelt mounts. No real cutting of the carpet is needed! I only enlarged one existing bolt hole in the interior material to make sure it would sit perfecrly. It looks very clean and you could say it looks 'OEM plus' this way.

Some tips when mounting the bar:
* On my ER34, there was a small plastic clip in the way on the driver's side (which clips the rear wiper fluid hose). It's on the inner side of the car below the soor sills. I had to remove that clip. No big deal, it's not really needed anyway.
* On a R34 Skyline 3 bolts are used (already present in the car where seatbelts mount) and one self-tapping screw. It is wise to do this screw last (which I did luckily :) ), because it requires some pre-drilling with a 3 or 4 millimeter drill bit.

I'm really happy with the item, great functional addition to the car and it looks great as well. High quality finish, which to my surprise doesn't even scratch that easily!
