Blitz was established in 1981 in Tokyo, Japan by a former employee of Sard back when Sard was know as Sigma Automotive. Blitz and Sard turbo kits and their components are basically the same and this is why there are these similarities. Alongside the other companies in the JDM Aftermarket, Blitz has been continuously researching and racing JDM cars, producing parts not seen before being debuted by Blitz. The first to sponser a D1 driver when the D1GP was still in its infancy, Blitz ranks as one of the top companies for quality parts within the aftermarket scene. Blitz sponsors Nomura Ken in the D1GP.
