This item is a direct bolt on application designed to direct air to flow efficiently from grille to the radiator/intercooler for improved cooling efficiency. Air escapes from the top of radiator instead of going through radiator on most stock vehicles. Radiator cooling plate restricts escaping air by connecting top of the grille to the radiator. This result more air to flow through radiator for more efficient cooling that prevent overheating. Beautiful finish also adds a great dressup accent to the engine bay.
