Really high quality, good looking
These are great if you've got expensive rims and don't want the nut gouging the seating surface. The tapered bit rotates so that the remain is unmarked. The black textured surface looks good, and the end cover has an o-ring to ensures water doesn't get in and corrode the threads. The main drive is a heptagon (7 sided drive) internally so no risk of scraping the barrel of the rim. The heptagon makes it a little harder for someone to undo the nuts and steal your rims. The end cover looks to be a standard Torx drive (key included). This is a change from the original series 1 formula nuts (silver body) which used an Alan drive. These are expensive but well made. I haven't had a problem with my series 1 nuts, and expect no problem with series II either
