This item mounts in the rear of the vehicle on the underside just below the fuel tank. When mounted, it will decrease aerodynamic drag that can occur from running without this flat piece. The Tank Guard can also prevent serious damage from being afflicted to your fuel tank from bottoming out. Since this piece is aluminum, it is surprisingly lightweight! Very good quality bucket seat. Comfortable and adjustable. Arrived very well packaged and the carbon is of very good quality, high quality of manufacture. I highly recommend this product for purists and those who appreciate this type of seat. Expensive but it is worth it because it is the quality of manufacture and materials that you do not find on replica seats.
