This item mounts in the front of the vehicle on the underside just below the engine. When mounted, it will decrease aerodynamic drag that can occur from running without this flat piece. The Under Guard can also prevent serious damage from being afflicted to your oil pan from bottoming out. Since this piece is aluminum, it is surprisingly lightweight! Very good quality bucket seat. Comfortable and adjustable. Arrived very well packaged and the carbon is of very good quality, high quality of manufacture. I highly recommend this product for purists and those who appreciate this type of seat.
