These are designed to optimize torque and horsepower over the widest possible power band. Each Camshaft application is offered in multiple profiles, each with their own lift & duration characteristics to suit various levels of tuning. Lower profiles offer substantial gains in power and a broad usable power band with little compromise in drivability. Higher profiles offer greater increases in power, but are tailored for the higher RPM range and racing applications. HKS Camshafts are not reground OEM units; they are machined from new billet cores which are constructed from a high nickel content iron alloy. By manufacturing all Camshafts from billet cores, HKS is able to produce Camshafts that equal or exceed the quality of the OEM units they are designed to replace.

FEATURES:
HKS Original Materials:
- Chill camshaft material exclusively for HKS is used.

Must be used with the special Valve Spring:
- Duration and valve lift were both designed larger than a stock.
- The valve spring included in this set must be used with this high lift camshaft.

Optimized Camshaft Profile:
- Lift volume was decided after the cylinder head measurement and flow test.
- Duration was decided to be well-balanced with a selected lift volume on the power curve at all range.
- The camshaft profile was optimized to clear points of the valve jump and/or cam nose friction.

Same Valve Timing as a Stock:
- The knock pin phase to position the cam pulley is the same as a stock, so the valve timing can be same as a stock.
- The cam sensor trigger position is the same as a stock so the malfunction of the stock ECU won't be led.
